MTR HPA-6 6 channel headphone amp s/n H-2809 Condition: V Good/Good
- 230v AC. 2 selectable stereo inputs (1/4 inch jacks on front and rear panel), Aux input (1/4 inch jack on front and rear panel) to output channels 1&2 with tone controls, 6 headphone outputs with volume control, stereo channel selector, mono/stereo selector. Full spec here
- From the size of the headphone drive transistors, this unit was capable of driving 8ohm headphones(!)
- Rear panel has fused AC IEC input and a ground lift switch as well as the duplicate audio jacks.
- After inspecting the internals of the HPA, the white mark on the lid appears to have been from something hot falling on it, rather than an internal overheating problem.
- There is a slight outward bow to the front panel – see photo
- Excellent working condition, a little scruffy on the outside. Do you listen with your eyes?
