There’s a lot of versatility packed into this mixer, more than most users will need.  The mic pre-amps aren’t the quietest, compared to the Xenyx preamps on the later models, but they’re OK.  Just set your gain stages up correctly!

• 10 mic inputs with global Phantom power, 16 line inputs (8 mono, 4 stereo), routable to main, or subgroup pairs.
• Channels 1-8 have a Low Cut filter and Direct out and insert jacks.  Each channel has 4 band eq, Pan, Mute and Solo functions, 4 aux sends (1&2 switchable pre/post fader).
• 4 stereo aux returns, with Aux 3 used to access the built-in effects.
• Two headphone sockets, monitoring Main, Sub1-2, Sub 3-4, RCA input or Solo selection
• Returns 1&2 can feed into Sends 1&2, allowing an outboard effect to be added to two monitor mixes
• 98 built-in effects + 1kHz test tone (99)
