The following signal paths have been tested working:-

• AES in to Analog out*
• Analog in (both channels) to ADAT out (Optical)
• ADAT in (Optical) (two channels) to Analog out

*There are two AES inputs.  “AES 2” is to support the older, slower legacy equipment, whereby (for example) a 96kHz signal was split into two 48kHz data streams.  These separate streams would be recombined within the Rosetta 200.  For ‘standard’ AES data, use “AES 1” input.

The following signal paths have not been tested:-

• Unable to test AES output signal – no equipment available
• Unable to test SPDIF I/O – no equipment available
• Wordclock I/O not tested
• The MIDI in port as supplied is used for updating firmware – see manual.
• The MIDI out port requires a Firewire card (not installed) to function.
