[Condition:  Very few marks on case, but a) missing button cap and b) tape on underside and glue residue on front  panel mean this cannot be classed as excellent]

This unit just works as expected.  Plug your (stringed) instrument into either Instrument input and pluck a string. The nearest note and sharp/flat variation is shown by the LEDs.

There is a mute switch (button cap missing) and a footswitch jack (not tested) to disconnect the amplifier.

The function button selects from one of 3 extra functions:

• Move the reference away from 440Hz
• Generate an audible tone through the amplifier to allow tuning ‘by ear’.  Note: for this to function, the Impedance of the connected instrument must be ‘high’.  Using a ‘line out’ (lowish impedance) signal will cause the output tone to be inaudible.
• Transpose:  Tune to transposing instruments (Bb trumpet, Eb sax, etc)

To exit from these functions, press the ‘Reset’ button
